For the September issue of W Magazine, Klein has created the world's first 3-D magazine cover. As he may be the first, the question now becomes, will he be the last? As virtual reality gains more traction we witness its subtle transition from film to fashion. What does this mean for the standards of digital photography? Will we see 3-D photography emerge as the new normal in

e-commerce? As enticing as the thought may be, one can take comfort in the familiarity of Klein's style. No matter the dimension you know Klein's work when you see it!

One of my favorite shots from the series

Klein was the first fashion photographer I learned about and studied in St. John's. I think that most fans will agree that his photographs are well known for their surreal effect, this perfect mixture between fact and fantasy that they have. If you're not careful you can overlook the details, like the tiny rain sized diamonds showering the care.
